We recommend that you reserve items as early as possible to ensure
availability. Even though we have a
large inventory from which to select, some items are more popular
than others and may not be available for last-minute rentals. If another
client is interested in the same rental for the same time period as you
have requested: You will be notified and a deposit may be collected in
order to hold the time slot and assure your intent.
The standard rental period is for a minimum of one week with discounts
available for long-term rentals. Shorter
rentals may be arranged for the Southern California area upon request.
DEPOSITS: A deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is generally taken at the time of rental. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Checks. This deposit will be deducted from the total rental amount. Total rental must be paid before shipment is made unless other arrangements are made.
The customer is not responsible for any damage caused by the normal
usage. It is understood
that the backdrops are expensive and should be handled by responsible
personnel. (See handling instructions) It is a rare occurrence but if
items are damaged due to abuse or large tears the customer will be
invoiced for repair costs or for replacement cost.
SHIPPING: All items are shipped freight from our Warehouse in California via air freight, UPS, Federal Express or by trucking companies. Shipments may be returned to our studio via a company of your choice. The return shipping cost is generally not included in the original invoice price. Therefore, unless otherwise arranged the return freight is at the cost of the customer. All C.O.D. charges will be invoiced back to the customer with an additional 5% handling fee.
WHERE TO SHIP RETURN BACKDROP: Please do not return backdrops to our P.O. Box. It is for mail only. If you are missing the return address for the shop please call 1-888-957-0320 for the correct return shipping information.
The term of the rental contract allows time for the equipment to be
shipped for your event and returned to us. Since other customers may
need the items for their event, prompt return of rental items is
extremely important. Accordingly, items postmarked more than 48 hours
after the agreed rental dates will be subject to a late return fee.
CANCELLATION: A reservation may be cancelled up to 10 days prior to the scheduled shipment date without penalty. Items cancelled less than 10 days prior to scheduled shipment date will be invoiced $50.00 to cover the cost of preparing the item for shipment. If cancellation takes place less than fives days prior to scheduled date, deposit will not be returned to customer.
ALTERATIONS: No alterations of any kind such as pinning, tacking, stapling, sewing or painting will be permitted. Repairs to our inventory which were caused by such alterations will be invoiced to the customer.
